Curved Stairlift Installation Sheffield, South Yorkshire

Another successful curved stairlift installation completed by our stairlift engineers.

The installation was carried out in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, not too far from Hillsborough. The stairlift installed on this staircase is a fully reconditioned Stannah Siena 260 Curved Stairlift with cream upholstery that fits in nicely with the decor of the home.

Installation of the brand new track was on the right hand side of the staircase. The track required a 90° bend at the top to negotiate the fan-shaped steps leading to the landing. The track ended on the top step and the stairlift carriage was fitted with a powered swivel seat that rotated 90° to face the landing. Finishing with a swivel seat meant that the door to the left was still accessible. Installation took around 4 hours with minimum disruption to the staircase.
