Versatile bespoke track: Designed and manufactured in Britain, the Acorn 180 runs on a durable single track which is designed and built to the exact specification of your staircase. It’s very versatile so can be fitted to a number of different staircase configurations including: internal, external, 90° bends, 180° turns, multiple bends, fan shaped stairs, square landings, 180° wrap round starts and many more staircase types.

Safety first: The Acorn 180 stairlift comes fully equipped with pressure sensitive safety plates, limit sensors, dual electronic and mechanical braking systems, safety belt harness and many other safety devices so you can rest assured that every journey up and down the stairs will be safe and hassle free.

Key Switch

The key switch enables the user to lock the stairlift when required. This can help stop any potential unauthorised use.

Single Modular Rail

The rail is slimline and can be designed to fit any staircase that features a bend or curve. It fits neatly to the stair treads.

Remote Controls

Wireless remote controls enable the user to call and send the stairlift up and down the stairs. This features can be handy when 2 or more people use the curved stairlift.

Performance Display

The diagnostic display gives you visual information on how the stairlift is running. It's especially handy for service engineers

Slimline Profile

The arms, seat and foot plate can be folded upwards effortlessly when required. This can be done anywhere along the staircase creating room to pass the stairlift if required.

Arm Controls

The easy to use controls enable the user to control the direction of the stairlift by the press of a button.

Safety Belt

The Acorn 180 comes fitted with a safety belt as standard. This can be used for extra safety whilst travelling along the stairs.

Safety edges

The safety edges are located around the footrest and carriage. They stop the stairlift instantly if it encounters any obstructions along the stairs.
