Curved stairlift installation in York, North Yorkshire

Here is a recent installation of a Stannah Siena 260 curved stairlift in a care home in York, North Yorkshire.

The track for this installation was over 8 metres long and was fitted to the R/H, external side of the staircase and featured 1 x 90° bend to negotiate the intermediate landing. 

The Stannah Siena 260 stairlift finished with a manual swivel seat at the top to allow safe alighting and allow space for a door at the top of stairs which opened outwards.

The patients at the care home are very pleased with the outcome and can now easily get up and down the stairs to socialise with each other and attend events.

The Installation took around 4 hours with minimum disruption to the residents.
