We know the importance of having a stairlift fitted within a timely manner so at Unicorn Stairlifts we will always endeavour to offer an efficient service throughout. The procedure of having a stairlift installed can be a surprisingly quick and undisruptive process overall. Generally, from site survey or order confirmation, our aim is to have your stairlift (straight or curved) delivered and fitted within 3-5 working day’s which is considered a quick turnaround. This can sometimes change depending on the model selected or the complexities of your staircase.

Typically, stairlifts take only 1 to 2 hours to install, with more complex installations taking 4 to 5 hours.

Next day delivery

We are aware that sometimes the fitting of a stairlift can be a matter of urgency and required even sooner. This can be for many reasons, including sudden change of circumstances or impending discharge from hospital. In these particular scenarios we can help by offering our next day installation service. This service is available on selected models with no additional charge – all you need to do is call 0800 587 9505 and ask us about our next day installation and delivery service - this service is dependent on certain variants and availability.

The Acorn 180 curved stairlift features a unique custom modular rail system meaning the standard waiting time of  2 - 4 weeks for track manufacture is considerably reduced. The Acorn 180’s unique design means faster installation times including next day can be available if required. The modular design of the track means no waiting for track manufacture – the track can just be selected off the shelf and put together on site. It can be bespoke to any curved staircase design.
