Curved stairlift installation in Manchester

Here is a recently completed installation of an Oto Smart Dual Swivel curved stairlift fitted in Manchester.

This stairlift was installed on the left-hand side of the staircase and required a 180° bottom wrap along with a 90° top landing run‑on. This configuration ensures the customer can get on and off the stairlift safely at both the top and bottom of the stairs.

This particular stairlift can travel backwards which makes it ideal for narrow and tight staircases.

The customer was delighted with their new stairlift and is looking forward to regaining their independence at home.

The full installation took around four hours to complete, with minimal disruption to the staircase and surrounding area.
