Curved stairlift installation in Preston

Recently we installed a reconditioned Brooks 180 curved stairlift for a customer in Preston, Lancashire. After assessing the property, the customer opted for the lift to be fitted on the left‑hand side of the staircase, which provided the safest and most practical travel path.

This installation required a bespoke, left hand track featuring a 90° internal bend with a 180° bottom wrap and a 90° top landing run-on, allowing the stairlift to park neatly, away from the staircase at both ends.

The full installation took around four hours, including setup, testing, and a complete demonstration of all controls and safety features. The customer was extremely pleased with the result and now has smooth, reliable access to the full staircase.
