Curved Stairlift Installation Old Trafford, Manchester

Successful curved stairlift installation completed by our stairlift engineers recently.

The installation was carried out in Manchester, not far from Old Trafford. The stairlift installed on this staircase is a fully reconditioned Acorn 180 curved stairlift.

Installation of the track was on the right hand external side of the staircase. The track required 90° bottom start so that it would park neatly away and leave sufficient space to pass when not in use. The track then continued up to another 90° bend followed by a straight section of steps, finishing with a 90° bend leading to the landing area. The Acorn 180 beige upholstery blends well with the staircase decor.

Installation took around 4 hours with minimum disruption to the staircase.
