Straight stairlift installation in Cheetham Hill, Manchester

Example of a recently installed straight stairlift fitted in Cheetham Hill, Manchester.

The property does not have any permanent free space for the stairlift to park at the bottom due to the hallway. Due to this, a stairlift with a hinge track is required which allows safe alighting for the user at floor level but also means the track can be folded vertically and the stairlift moved up the stairs via remote control. This system means you won't have the stairlift obstructing the hallway and also means the bottom section of the track doesn't become a trip hazard. The stairlift installed was a left sided, fully reconditioned Acorn 130 T700 stairlift with an automatic powered hinge track.

The installation was carried out by our experienced stairlift engineers and took around 1 hour 30 mins to complete with minimum disruption in the home.
