The stairlift travels on a slimline rail which is bespoke to the size of your staircase. It attaches directly and neatly to the stairs treads with minimum disruption to your home. Packed with safety features: The electronic and mechanical braking system controls the stairlift during your journey up and down the stairs making it smooth and safe at all times. The stairlift also features a lap harness, safety limit sensors, pressure sensors, lockable key and many other safety features.

Battery power: Like most modern day stairlifts, the Acorn stairlift comes with highly durable battery packs installed which are automatically recharged at the end of every trip. This means unlike older mains driven stairlifts, the Acorn stairlift is whisper quiet and incredibly smooth. The main benefit however is the stairlift would still continue to work if a power cut occured.
